‘Family Karma’ Aunties Divide Cast With Feud – and Monica Vaswani Shares Receipts

Family Karma Tensions continue to build between the aunties as the feud between Brian Benni’s mother Dharma and Vishal Parvani’s mother Reshma spills over into the group.

At Kalpna Patel’s party, Dharma shares some of the others Family Karma aunties that he is not very welcome at Vishal and Richa Sadana’s wedding and Reshma seems to have snubbed him. There was tension in several episodes but during “The Auntie Bunch,” Dharma revealed how she felt about Vishal’s marriage. Reshma was invited but she did not turn up at Kalpna’s party.

“You’re the host, you’re married,” Dharma told the group. “It doesn’t matter if you have 100 people or you have five people. I’m saying too much but at Richa’s wedding, Reshma, she didn’t say hello or anything.”

Now Dharma understands Lopa’s feelings in ‘Family Karma’ Season 1

Richa’s mother Lopa told the group that Reshma used to ignore her too. “Years ago Lopa was at Reshma Parvani’s daughter’s wedding and ignored her,” Dharma said in a confession. The moment was rehashed on Family Karma Season 1, which was the epitome of some of the tension between Lopa and Reshma.

“Now I see Lopa’s side 100%,” added Dharma. “It just feels s***ty. “Because I didn’t do anything to him.” A producer pointed out that when Dharma tried to broker a reconciliation between Reshma and Lopa, did Reshma see it as interference?

“Maybe,” Dharma replied. “I’m not sure.”

Dharma and Reshma’s tension prompts the ‘Family Karma’ aunties to take sides

Lopa supports Dharma but the other girls try to walk a line between their friends. But Dharma said, “If you were true friends, you would say yes she is wrong,” Dharma said of Reshma. Amrit Kapai’s mother Lavina tries to explain to Dharma that maybe Reshma is busy hosting the wedding.

Meanwhile, the production captures Lavina secretly texting Reshma, asking if she is coming to the party. Clearly aware of the tense rumour, Vishal’s father Kishor tells Lavina that he and Reshma will not be coming to the party. And in a confession, he added, “If they don’t appreciate us, the best we can do is avoid these people.”

Of course, now Lavina seems to be stuck in the middle. He told a confessional that he wanted to bring this fight out into the open. Instead, the gossip continued to celebrate.

The kids of ‘Family Karma’ get caught up in the auntie’s tension

tea Family Karma The “kids” got involved on social media as the episode aired. “Looks like some aunties are trying to make it about themselves,” Vishal tweeted. “But here are some receipts thanks to MonicaVaswani for sharing. Don’t drag my mom down, when she really cares and reaches out to everyone.”

Vishal added a screenshot text chain from Reshma to all parents, including Dharma. Reshma explains that Monica Vaswani planned to teach all the dances they can perform at Vishal’s wedding. Dharma replied in the text chain that he and his wife planned to “come down” to the dance and thanked her for coming along.

Brian replied to the thread, “Smh has nothing to do with the actual issue.”

But Amrit agrees that there is no need for tension. “This tita happy hour is the epitome of self-importance. It seems that some people attended Vishal and Richa’s wedding to feel important and not to support the bride and groom. Grow up and get over yourself. #TeamAuntyReshma #familykarma,” she wrote.

Will Reshma and Dharma finally clear the air and put it Family Karma aunties away to rest? The mid-season trailer teases a showdown that seems to be coming. Family Karma is at 9 pm ET on Bravo.
