Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor has been on the receiving end of a lot of trolling several times. This time, the actress caught the attention of netizens when she expressed her opinion on the open-firing incident in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh.
One of the Twitter users posted a picture of Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and asked the actress what her father was doing to her.
Responding to the post, Sonam first shared a report on the Shaheen Bagh firing and wrote, “This is something I never thought would happen in India. Stop this divisive dangerous politics. It is fueling HATE. If you believe you who are yourself a Hindu, understand that religion is about Karma and dharma and it is neither of those.”

Twitterati responded to Sonam’s comment with, “Aap bahut prakharta se apni aawaaz uthati hai. Kripya desh ko bataengi ki aatanki Dawood ke saath aapke pita ki tasveer ka sambandh unke karm se hai ya dharm se? (You raise your voice fiercely. Can you please tell your father is related to Dawood by his actions or by his religion?)”
Responding to the troll again, Sonam wrote, “Cricket se hain. Indian cricket.

He went one step ahead and this time he refuted the whole incident. “He went to a cricket match with Raj Kapoor and Krishna Kapoor. And was in a box to see it.
