Riteish Deshmukh Attacks BJP With Fiery Speech At Brother Dhiraj’s Campaign Rally In Latur Rural; Videos

Latur: Actor Riteish Deshmukh recently held a campaign rally in Latur Rural in support of his younger brother and Congress candidate Dhiraj Vilasrao Deshmukh ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly Elections. Comparing the current political climate to the recent Lok Sabha elections, Riteish spoke about local issues, highlighting the lack of job opportunities in Latur despite the city’s renowned education pattern. He also targeted the BJP for public relations Dharma politics.

He emphasized that while the ‘Latur Pattern’ was popular across Maharashtra, local youth were struggling with unemployment, which he argued was the government’s responsibility to address. Riteish urged voters to keep these critical issues in mind when they cast their ballots on November 20.

Riteish Attacks BJP For Dharma Politics

Riteish targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its emphasis on religion in its campaign. Drawing parallels with Hindu teachings, he quoted Lord Krishna, who said, “Work is Dharma. The diligent performance of duties is Karma, and that itself is Dharma. Those who work faithfully embody Dharma , but those who don’t work use religion as a shield.”

He further commented on how political parties claim that religion is in danger, calling on people to ‘save religion’ and ‘protect Dharma.’ Riteish argued that these parties are actually seeking protection for their own political interests, hiding their needs under the guise of religion.

Addressing the voters, Riteish urged them not to fall for divisive tactics. “Tell those who preach religion that we will take care of Dharma; instead, let’s talk about the real issues that affect our lives,” he advised. “Ask them what price they will guarantee for our crops, if our mothers and sisters are truly safe,” he added.

He further expressed confidence in his brothers, Dhiraj and Amit Deshmukh, to shoulder the responsibilities of the region, citing their commitment and ability to work for the community. He assured the voters of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government of imminent success in forming the next one, expressing no doubt about their ability to fulfill the promises made to the people.

Tough Competition In Latur Rural

Latur Rural Assembly Constituency will witness a tough fight as Congress leader Dhiraj Deshmukh will be pitted against BJP’s Ramesh Karad and MNS leader Santosh Ganpatrao Nagargoje. The 288-member Maharashtra Assembly is scheduled to vote on November 20. Counting of votes will take place on November 23.
